The main objective of the Livelihood project of AFF is to reduce poverty by increasing opportunities among the extremely poor and vulnerable camp dwellers. The first is the realization that while economic growth may be essential for poverty reduction, there is no automatic relationship between the two since it all depends on the capabilities of the poor to take advantage of expanding economic opportunities.
